Temporary storage
For temporary storage, an equalisation attachment (bed level equaliser) is additionally installed on a Havelberger metering silo.
This consists of two spiral screws conveying backwards. These distribute the material falling in evenly in the silo for temporary storage. Discharge occurs, in an even and metered fashion, via the tried and tested Havelberger scraper-chain system. The equalisation system can be sealed off from the surroundings with an enclosed roof in order to prevent emissions.
Vorteile des Zwischenspeicher
-
Selective discharge from pretreatment possible
Discharge via conveyor belts or other discharge systems is evenly distributed in the silo.
-
Separation of material flows
Different volume flows possible. For example, larger volume flow at the input – smaller volume flow at the discharge.
-
Equalisation of material flows
Discontinuous volume flow at the input and entirely constant volume flow at the discharge.
-
Closed system
Thanks to an enclosed roof which can also be erected outside. This means that no hall needs to be built for the silo volumes – cost savings!
-
First in = first out
zuerst eingefülltes Material wird auch zuerst wieder abgegeben. Keine Materialalterung. Keine vollständige Entleerung notwendig.
-
Simultaneity
Simultaneous filling and removal possible.
-
Uniformity
Uniform filling of the silo, homogenisation of the material during filling and mixing through delivery via milling drums.
-
Level detection
Through sensors or weight monitoring. Discharge of metered volumes.
